3-Days Magical Kenya Awaits at Maasai Mara National Reserve

You leave Nairobi early in the morning and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping briefly at a viewpoint to admire its sweeping landscapes. By midday you arrive at your lodge or tented camp in the Maasai Mara, where you settle in and enjoy lunch. In the late afternoon, you embark on your first game drive, venturing into the reserve as the sun begins to dip – the perfect time to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras and perhaps a pride of lions preparing for the evening hunt. Rise before dawn for a sunrise game drive, when predators are most active and the light is magical. Lions, cheetahs and hyenas are often seen at this hour, and the crisp air makes the experience unforgettable. Breakfast is served picnic-style in the bush, surrounded by herds of wildebeest and antelope. The rest of the day is spent exploring different corners of the reserve, including the Mara River where hippos wallow and crocodiles lurk.
