Embark on an 8-day budget safari through Kenya’s most iconic wildlife destinations – the Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli. Enjoy thrilling game drives in search of the Big Five, witness the Great Migration (seasonal) and marvel at Amboseli’s elephant herds beneath the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

With an extra day in the Maasai Mara, you have ample time to immerse yourself in its vast savannahs and vibrant wildlife. This all-inclusive tour offers comfortable budget accommodation, expert guides and scenic stops, starting and ending in Nairobi – perfect for nature lovers seeking an affordable yet unforgettable African safari.

Detailed Itinerary

You will depart from Nairobi and head west for Maasai Mara enjoying the scenic view of the Great Rift Valley escarpments and have the first stop over at at a place called view point to give you the chance to appreciate the view of the great rift valley. The second stop over will be at Narok to have your hot lunch before getting to the camp/park. The journey will enable you view different landscapes right from Nairobi all the way to Mara. After checking in and refreshment, have an evening game drive to spot a few startling wildlife then dinner and accommodation at our fully furnished camp with hot showers, and buffet self-serviced meal plans. Meals are served according to your preferences.

Have breakfast and set off for a full day Game Drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its ‘residents’. It is best known for wildebeest migration which is seasonal between the months of July, August and September. If lucky enough you will view the Big 5 (GRAND CINQ) in complete but you won’t miss one or two of the big five if not all. It is home to a variety of birds species which is a magnificent site. Have a picnic lunch and continue with the search for wild animals till late evening. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Have breakfast and set off for a full day Game Drive and enjoy the beautiful Mara savannah grassland landscape on rolling hills and its ‘residents’. It is best known for wildebeest migration which is seasonal between the months of July, August and September. If lucky enough you will view the Big 5 (GRAND CINQ) in complete but you won’t miss one or two of the big five if not all. It is home to a variety of birds species which is a magnificent site. Have a picnic lunch. Visit to the Maasai village in the evening is optional at an extra cost of 10$ per person. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Have breakfast and proceed on to the masai village in Mara just so to have a glance of theirculture then leave for Nakuru with a lunch in Mai Mahiu. Enjoy the beautiful sight of Mount Longonot on your way to Nakuru and the sight of the beautiful Lake Naivasha from afar. You could engage in an optional fun activity of boat riding at the lake Naivasha. Then proceed to Nakuru. Dinner and overnight at the budget hotel.

Have a morning Game Drive in Lake Nakuru National Park that is famously known for flamingoes and also a rhino sanctuary for both the white endangered rhino and the black rhino. Enjoy the splendid site of the water body animals like the buffaloes, crocodiles and the hippos too and how they live together. You will view this from a view point of the baboon cliff and interact with the baboons too. Have picnic lunch then later in the day travel to Naivasha. Have dinner and spend the night in Naivasha.

Have your breakfast then get to Hells Gate and get started with the fun activities of walking and climbing through the Gorges as you have nature walks appreciating what gifts nature has to give then do bike riding which is an optional fun activity. Enjoy the vegetation around the park. Later have lunch and depart for Amboseli via Nairobi and the Busy Nairobi – Mombasa highway to arrive Amboseli in time for Dinner and overnight.

Have breakfast then set out for the Game Drive in the second bet park in Kenya and enjoy the beautiful wildlife that is viewed at a close proximity. Meet the elephants of Amboseli that are really large and the roars of Amboseli. The view even gets better when you get the view of the largest snow capped mountain of Africa which is Mount Kilimanjaro. Have picnic lunch. Optional activity of visiting the villages at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
